Hello Final 6!!!
This week you need to submit a photo based on the 7 Deadly Sins and I'm really proud with you girls..
Before that, Amber, this is a Stress Week. And I already mention earlier in the Photoshoot thread that we're going to have a Stress Week, meaning to say No Extensions & Punishment will be given for the late submission. You were late 45 minutes so this week 5 points will be deducted from your total score. ...
Let's start our Judging Session
Amber - Wrath
Camilla - Greed
Lea - Lust
Natalie - Pride
Olivia - Envy
Taylor - Gluttony
Mandy: I feel like I just accidentally wandered into Hitler's favorite adult novelty store.
Beyond that, though, it's a very sexy pose and you definitely embody the wrath theme very, very well. I'm a little concerned that this photo is almost beyond sexy and into the realm of trashy, though...
I'll try to come up with something better to say. I'm in McDonalds right now, and I feel like I shouldn't be closely examining this photo where little children can see me...
Brody: It's a good image and and it embodies the theme, but I think it might be too trashy. You used naughty, but I would use skanky. But during a week where literally almost every person sucks, you should be in great shape with this picture. I definitely think you will survive this week.
Amanda: Yeah, this sort of strikes me as... Nazi. That's not a good thing. The pose is great and it is wrathful in every way it can be, so yeah you should be good for this round.
Sonam: I love this one.. Very sexy and a little bit trashy... But I can see "Wrath" element in this photo. Very fierce..
Amanda: You look vulnerable in this picture. It's an interesting take on greed - something I never expected to see, and it's definitely a risk and we like to see risks this late in the competition. I love the mirror effect, too - it's something different. The jewelry is also great and it clearly seems that you ARE wealthy. I also like how your makeup isn't overdone at all - you don't need to make yourself look wealthier.
But at the same time, there are a few things I don't like. I can't feel the "greed" from this. I feel the "wealth," but it looks like you don't want more of it. Greed is wanting more. This also seems more like a vidcap than anything, which can be a bit of an issue. It doesn't completely scream "model" to me.
Overall, there are both good and bad things about it. This is overall an average photo, and with only six left, average might mean trouble. I still hope you stay though - good luck!
Sonam: I can feel the greed element in this photo. You look beautiful. The necklace and bracelet really help you to inject greed mood much better. But I want more strength in your face. You can do more with your face expression to represent Greed much better
Mandy: I definitely see where you were going with this, Camilla, but I agree that the pose doesn't really seem firm enough. I think if I were to come in and try to take away your stuff, and you pulled that pose on me, I'd just start laughing and take it anyway. That being said, it's a phenomenal shot from a modelling perspective. Your eyes are beautiful and vulnerable, your accessories are luscious, and your posing is amazing.
Tom: I'm having a hard time seeing the greed. I mean your face does not read any type of greed what so ever but it's a beautiful shot.
Brody: When I look at this I really do see "high society" and the mirror effect is amazing, but the facial expression is really bothering me. I don't really see greed. What I see is that she is hiding a secret.
Sonam: I think this is gorgeous. I can feel the "Lust' in your photo. The posing is sensual and you look very sexy but not trashy which is very good. But be careful. I saw sometimes you were too posey and it doesn't look real. You want to avoid that.
Amanda: Lust: uncontrolled or illicit sexual desire or appetite; lecherousness
This photo doesn't exactly feel "lusty" to me. It feels more like you're writhing in pain, possibly from a sexual desire, but for some reason I'm not feeling it. Perhaps it's the black and white - I don't know how I feel about that in this photo. Something just doesn't feel right about it. Lust is a COLORFUL desire, something dreamy, and making this photo black and white sort of robs us of that desire. It seems to not be strong. It's not like you're fainting because a hot guy just walked into the room.
The pose is great, as is the hair. Your nose stands out a lot here though, and it becomes the focal point of your face. I don't like that. The outfit and nail polish are fine, but again I'd like some color here.
Overall... this is just okay for me. I don't really know what else to say...
Mandy: I disagree with Amanda. I'm definitely getting a "someone hold me back, or I'm liable to tear these clothes right off with my manicured nails!" kind of vibe. This photo treads the thin line between sexy and trashy very well, and that's hard to do. Not the biggest fan of the sweater you've got going on, but your hair is great, and the pose is very good. Great job!
Tom: Yeah i have no idea what Amanda says. I didnt even know your sin and as soon as i looked at the photo i got Lust. The pose, they way your are grabbing yourself is totally what i like about this photo so hot and lustful!
Amanda: I'm not feeling well. Perhaps I am not thinking clearly? I still don't like the black and white though...
I see it better now. Something still bugs me and I dunno what it is.
Brody: Like always (at least it seems), I'm going to have to agree with... Amanda. I honestly do see pain more than lust. And the black and white was horrible. If this was in color it would be ten times better.
Sonam: I love the whole story behind this photo but your photo looks like it was cropped..
This is the same photo with you but the quality is better..
Sonam: This is such a beautiful photo but the quality kinda turned me off. I can feel the Pride
Mandy: Goodness gracious, but that photo is disturbing. I do think that you stellarly nailed the pride aspect, but I agree with Sonam in that the quality is low, and that really all that we have going here is the face. I would have preferred to see a shot that showcased a bit more of you, especially since the background is so close to your makeup, color-wise.
Tom: I was a tad scared when i saw your photo. I mean it's well done and i guess i can see the pride. you went bold and did what you had to do to get this photo. good job.
Amanda: I don't really have much to add. You nailed the theme and the makeup is great but I want to see more! Still, I think you should be good for this week.
Brody: I have mixed feelings on this. It fits Pride really well, but it really bothers me that you used the cropped version with horrible quality. Overall, its OK.
Tom: This reminds me of Poison Ivy from the Batman Series. I feel like every time i see i picture of you you look very different. Now that could be good or bad because you deff look hot here but it's jsut toying with my emotions plus your one eye is totally telling me that your jealous of something
Mandy: This is fantastic! You provided a great explanation, and I definitely see the envious aspects of this photo. Not a huge fan of the hair falling over the eye, as I feel like it hides your beauty, but I'm willing to suspend my usual dislike in this case. Well done! <3
Brody: I've heard of green with envy, but never blue with envy. Maybe I'm behind with things, but anyways, I think you look way too happy for "envy". The facial expression does nothing for me. I feel if you are going to bring up "green with envy" then you should follow up with a greenish picture, not one with tons of blue. You are easily one of my favorites, but unfortunately I'm not going to be able to rate you very high this week, hopefully you can survive.
Amanda: You look like someone that others are envious of. That's a much different approach than we expected. I also see it as a bit more of a blue than green too. You do look ravishing but... not envious. That's my issue. I'm with Brody... I hope you survive, but I can't rank you that high
Sonam: You look very gorgeous and stylish.. I think this photo is amazing but can i relate this photo to envy.. Not so much..
Brody: I was a little worried for you when you chose gluttony, but I think you pulled it off. I think your facial expression really pulls it all together, You're not just sipping your coke, you're drinking it with passion and I really think it represents your sin well.
The only criticism I have is your lips. Did you photoshop that yourself to color them? They look strange
Amanda: I love the lipstick and the antiquated look. The lipstick also matches your cupcake, and I honestly feel that you've captured your sin better than several of the others. I do hate that headband since it's obnoxious, but aside from that you look gluttonous - and I think the gaudy lipstick enforces that. Great work!
Sonam: I think this is very modelesque... I think you managed to execute the theme very well too. I mean there's a lot of sugar in the Coke and Cupcakes and it's sinful for a girl to drink coke (except Diet Coke) and eat cupcakes (ew).. I love it very much, Taylor
I'm going to wait for Tom & Mandy to complete their critiques and ranking
