I'm not completely feeling that this is "model," but I LOVE how you're embracing your heritage (and that we're going to China anyway! Woo! China is awesome, though I've never been to Shanghai)
I totally see the theme - you're ready for battle, ready to redeem yourself from your prior loss. And although it doesn't scream "model," it does scream "redemption." I like the pose, the blade and the fierceness - and that it stays true to Chinese tradition (something I wish I'd experienced more of when I was there). Overall, great work!

I think Amber hit all the points I wanted to make. It does really embrace the Redemption theme and shows you as a strong woman. I love that about the shot. It's not necessarily "model" but its something different and unique. I'm not sure if it will be good enough to get you back into the game, because I haven't seen others shots, but if it does, congrats!

Tom: I've basically said the same thing to Evan but something important to me about modeling is finding a character or something you feel open to and embrace that. Like Amanda and Brody have been saying you took heritage and flaunted it. That gets you points. Though i will have to sadly agree that it's not really model like.
I want to wish you good luck and say that whatever the outcome is you were/are an awesome competitor and you went up and beyond by picking who you picked. Great job at where you are and good luck to you!
